10" x 26"     A Baluch tribal weaving art.  This is a beautiful piece of tribal art that was woven for functional purposes.  This item was woven as the face of a small bag.  small tribal bags are used for carrying salt and other spices or as a spatula bag.  These bag faces are now used as woven art displayed on the wall or a table and in some cases can be used in the construction of a small pillow.

Place of Origin:  SE Persia
Material:  Wool on a wool foundation with natural dyes
Condition:  Wear consistent with age and use
