9’ 9“ x 19’ 6” An oversize Heriz Serapi rug from the Azerbaijan region of Northwest Persia. The Heriz rugs have ageless beauty and because of the use of natural dyes, they develop more beautiful color hues (abrash) over many generations of use. This Heriz rug has a beautiful brilliant antique red field color. The oversize Heriz rug has a large central medallion with light blue, pink, yellow, and white colors in the center. It has a blue border with a colorful geometric design throughout. The corner designs are in yellow, pink, blue, green, and other bright colors.
