Description
14’ x 15’ 2” A “near square” oversized Turkish Oushak in a geometric medallion pattern from the early 1900s in soft shades of pink, green, yellow, and ivory. It is in the style of the Persian Serapi rugs from the mid-1800s. It has an open design set in a cream color field with corner spandrels in pale green color. A wonderful pale salmon color border frames the rug beautifully. There are large geometric forms on the border again reminiscent of the Persian Serapi rugs.
