Description
3’ 7” x 15’ 10” Vintage American Amish Rag Runner has a striped pattern in a green background with accent colors of yellow and blue. The Amish community in Pennsylvania wove these runners mainly for their own use using the material that they had on hand. It is a beautiful example of an upcycling and reuse of material that has utilitarian functions but is also a representation of the art and culture that is woven into it. This American Amish Rag Runner is in stripe design and has a very modern design format and can be incorporated into any modern interior design project. Please note that the American Amish Rag Runner SKUs 1549 and 1550 are identical pairs and could be combined to make an extra wide (66" x 190") or extra long ( 43" x 380") runner.
