This authentic vintage Afghan Ersari room-size rug features a classic allover geometric composition woven in a highly sought-after camel hair palette. Handwoven in the mid-20th century, the field is organized with repeating octagonal medallions known as Gul (flower motifs), rendered in deep navy and midnight blue against a warm camel hair ground.

What sets this piece apart is the exceptional quality of the wool—naturally lustrous and finely spun—creating a subtle shimmer under changing light and a remarkably soft, almost silk-like hand.
