A striking vintage Persian Ardabil rug from the mid-20th century, this room-size carpet showcases the iconic “signature Ardebil” geometric design, celebrated for its tribal charm and symbolic motifs. Hand-knotted in the historic weaving city of Ardabil—located in the Azerbaijan region of northwestern Iran—this piece reflects generations of artisanal heritage and cultural storytelling.

The rug features an ivory-colored field adorned with a dynamic arrangement of stylized birds and geometric tribal forms, lending both texture and narrative richness. A bold central medallion in deep brick red anchors the composition, adding a warm focal point.
