6’ 10” x 10’ 9” The room-size Persian rug is woven by the Bakhtiari tribes in Western Persia in the early 1900s. A large central medallion is in a cream background color. Bakhtiari rugs are renowned for their beautiful floral designs and the use of brilliant vegetable dyes that produce vibrant colors throughout. The corner spandrels have a very beautiful and unique brown/dark green color. Scrolling foliage in a cream color border. Accent colors throughout the rug include abrash colors of blue, cream, green, pink, purple, brown, red, and gold.
