11’ 4” x 13’ 8” A beautiful “near square” vintage Persian Bakhtiari oversize rug in garden panel design from the 2nd quarter of the 1900s in pale yellow, pink, French blue, and green. The design shows four panels of various flower design formats. This is one of the most sought-after designs in the Bakhtiari rugs and being a “near square” it makes it even more special. The design includes flowers, branches, and trees in a garden setting. The range of colors resulting from the use of natural vegetable dyes results in a beautiful palate of wonderful colors including green, blue, yellow, and red. brown, and pink. The rug has one of the most beautiful borders of any vintage tribal rug.
