Kashan 1318

This exquisite Early 20th Century Persian Kashan Rug features a classic Kashan "garden" floral pattern, meticulously woven to evoke a lush, blooming landscape. The intricate design is set against a beautiful and rich red background field, creating a vibrant and sophisticated foundation.

At the heart of this captivating composition lies a commanding navy blue medallion, featuring a serene ivory and French blue center, flanked by elegant navy blue pendants. These central elements beautifully anchor the expansive red field. Throughout the field, traditional motifs of graceful scrolling vines, delicate flowers, and finely serrated leaves are brilliantly rendered in a harmonious palette of various blues, soft pink, luminous gold, classic ivory, and subtle olive green.

The rug's grandeur is further enhanced by pristine white spandrels in the corners, which beautifully contrast with the field, and a distinguished blue main border, framing the entire masterpiece.
