Description

9’ x 11’ 6”       This rug was artistically created in Agra, India in the late 1800s. This beautiful rug has an all-over "Flower Garden" pattern set in a dark rich navy blue field. The design is reminiscent of rugs that were woven during the Mughal period in the 16 and 17 centuries.  The border is in burgundy color with branches and leaves design. It is very finely woven with lustrous shiny wool.
