8' 9″ x 11' 8″ This Persian Khorassan room-size rug has a floral design with a central medallion. The design is set in a rich crimson red field color. The main design consists of flowers and branches in various colors including red, green, pink, yellow, and blue. The corner spandrels have a dark blue color have a wonderful bright color floral design set in the camelhair. The central medallion is in cream and blue colors with a flower bouquet that stands out and makes for the most beautiful center medallion. This rug has a beautiful range of fantastic bright colors resembling a Persian grade. The border is in rich camel hair color with flowers in various designs. The Khorassan province in eastern Persia for several millenniums has been considered the center of learning in the ancient east and has a great tradition of weaving beautiful and colorful rugs.
