9’ 6” x 14’ 6” Green and pale yellow Oushak room-size rug from the late 1800s. This is truly one of the most beautiful Turkish Oushak rugs in our collection. The photos do not capture the beauty of this wonderful Oushak. The rug has an all-over design with a small central medallion set in a light green color field with small geometric designs around the edge of the field. The border is in a light yellow color with geometric designs. The rug has lush wool and the use of wonderful vegetable dyes which over time develop beautiful hues. A masterpiece in design and colors and must be seen up close to really appreciate it.
