Description
11’ 7” x 14’ 1” A very rare “near square” oversize Oushk rug from the early 1900s. The rug has soft shades of pink, green, yellow, and cream. It is in the style of the Persian Serapi rugs from the mid-1800s. It has an open design set in a cream color field with corner spandrels in pale green color. A wonderful pale salmon color border frames the rug beautifully. There are large geometric forms on the border again reminiscent of the Persian Serapi rugs.
