Our enzyme wash for pet stains and odors
- Dust and debris removal. Embedded dirt comes out of the pile and foundation first, so the treatments work better.
- Enzyme soak. The rug soaks for several hours in an enzyme bath that neutralizes odor-causing bacteria and breaks down the organic compounds behind pet stains and smoke residue.
- Hand wash and rinse. A pH-balanced shampoo made for natural fibers protects the dyes, followed by a full rinse to remove all residue.
- Gentle water extraction. A carpet spinner removes excess water without stressing the fibers.
- Controlled drying. A drying room with controlled temperature and humidity dries the rug slowly and evenly, typically over 12 to 24 hours, to prevent mold, mildew and fiber distortion.
