Description

This beautiful vintage Tabriz-design room-size rug, hand-knotted in Pakistan during the fourth quarter of the 20th century in the classical Persian Tabriz tradition, features a timeless floral pattern with a sophisticated and balanced palette. The elegant ivory field is anchored by a richly hued terracotta border, creating a warm and inviting presence of considerable decorative authority. A striking terracotta central medallion adds grandeur, while the corner spandrels in harmonious navy blue and pale brown complete a composition of refined classical balance.

Pakistan's finest workshops have produced Tabriz-design carpets of exceptional quality for generations, drawing on the design vocabulary of the great Tabriz ateliers and reproducing their patterns with skill and fidelity. This room-size example in its warm terracotta and ivory colorway brings the timeless elegance of the Tabriz aesthetic to a space at an accessible level of investment.
