Description
8’ 1” x 11’ 7” An extremely fine weave Tabriz in a floral design which is considered a more “formal” design from the Tabriz fine artisan workshops. The finer rugs use silk for the foundation of the rug which is the case here. In addition, there is extensive use of the silk in the pile for highlighting the design making this rug almost "all silk" rug. The central medallion and the corners because of all the silk used shimmer under the light.
