11’ 2” x 17’ 8” A magnificent example of oversized Walter Nichols Art Deco Chinese rug from the early 20th century. ! Truly one of the most beautiful rugs ever made in China in a wonderful “like new” condition which is extremely rare for a rug over 100 years old. The central pagoda design is set in a blue field surrounded by butterflies and flower bouquets. The corners of the main field have the design of birds, butterflies, and flowers. The border is a rich yellow color with the design of pagodas.
