10’ 6” x 19’ 9” The calm and sureness are radiated from this rare oversize antique Art Deco Chinese rug from the 1st quarter of the 20th century. The rug would bring in elegance through its understatement. The dark blue field is framed by a narrow border that has simple tree branches and medallions designed in rich gold color. The grace and simplicity in the design and use of colors in the rug bring to mind the design of the Japanese rock meditation gardens. A minimalist design but very elegant and beautiful.
