The Chondsoresk rug also known as Cloudband Kazak was hand woven in the late-1800s from the village of Chondoresh in the Karabagh area of the Caucasus mountains. This beautiful Chondsoresk has three large "Cloudband" medallions in an abrash green, ivory and blue background color. It has beautiful geometric forms” in ivory, red, and blue scattered throughout. The designs are set in a tomato red color field. The ivory color border with designs frames the rug.   The rug has wear throughout but still displays beautiful bold patterns and colors.

Material:  Wool pile on a wool foundation with vegetable dyes
