Description

This striking vintage Turkish rug, hand-knotted in a classic Persian Heriz medallion pattern, offers a bold geometric aesthetic and a vibrant, well-balanced color palette. Featuring a large central medallion in navy blue, red, and green, the design sits within a rich red field adorned with small geometric motifs in blue, pink, yellow, and green. These forms are intricately connected by a delicate lattice structure, adding depth and cohesion to the overall composition.

The red and green corner spandrels mirror the central design with complementary lattice detailing, creating a sense of symmetry and movement. The primary border is rendered in deep red, showcasing stylized geometric motifs in shades of pink, cream, blue, and green—framing the piece with structure and elegance.
