A magnificent Late 19th century oversized Persian Kerman Lavar rug handwoven in the 4th quarter of the 1800s.  This rug features a truly stunning Art Nouveau floral design that evokes a sense of fluid, naturalistic elegance. The design includes a beautiful central medallion set against a serene cream color field, creating a captivating focal point. The rug's diverse and intricate color palette includes a beautiful range of hues, such as vibrant turquoise blue, verdant green, rich red, and earthy brown.
The intricate design and use of color are so refined that the rug's aesthetic remarkably resembles the famous "Wisteria Lamp" by Louis Comfort Tiffany, a classic Art Nouveau creation from 1901-1902. The design includes a beautiful central medallion set against a serene cream color field, creating a captivating focal point.
