Description

11’ 4“ x 16’ 9”        Kerman Lavar rugs from the 1800s are renowned for their beauty in design and the use of colors. The Kerman Lavar rug is in the Art Nouveau floral design of the late 1800s.   The design and use of colors are very intricate.   The rug design resembles Louise Comfort Tiffany's, Listeria Lamp from 1901-1902.   The rug has a central medallion which is set in a cream color field.  The range of colors includes turquoise blue, green, red, and brown.  True beauty in every aspect of design, color use.  Truly a masterpiece of Persian 19th-century weaving.
