Description

An early 20th century Persian Lilian runner in an elegant allover floral design set in an abrash navy blue field of great depth and tonal complexity — the natural variation of hand-dyed wool creating a surface that shifts between deeper and lighter blues with the organic richness that only genuinely hand-dyed textiles achieve. The flowers bloom in beautiful shades of green, blue, red, and pink, bringing ageless beauty to the surface with the freshness of a garden in full color.

The Lilian village of the Sarouk district in Western Persia produced runners of particular refinement — the abrash navy field paired with the allover floral pattern is one of the most beautiful and sought-after combinations in the Lilian tradition. At over 100 years old and in very good condition, this runner retains its colors and beauty with remarkable freshness.
