Beautiful Persian Malayer gallery or corridor size rug in an allover design from the early 1900s. The large geometric forms are set in a tan color field. The larger format geometric designs are navy blue, baby blue, brown, pink, and yellow. The border is in a cream color with design forms in various colors. The use of the vegetable dyes which are known as “abrash” which over time develop various shades and give a beautiful patina to the design throughout the field and border.
