Turkish Hereke 1815

Vintage Turkish Hereke room size rug was artistically handwoven in the mid-20th century in an allover pattern .  The authentic vintage Hereke rug features a graceful allover botanical pattern set on a luminous light yellow–tan field, creating a warm and inviting foundation suitable for a wide range of interiors.

The field is richly decorated with flowing tree branches and delicate leaves, forming a continuous garden-inspired pattern that reflects the classical floral aesthetic associated with traditional Turkish carpet design. Soft accent colors of pink, pale blue, green, brown, gray, lavender, and burgundy add depth and visual interest while maintaining a refined, harmonious palette.  Framing the design is a pale green and brown border, which gently anchors the composition and enhances the rug’s balanced symmetry.
