Turkish Hereke 1700

The early 20th century Turkish Hereke room size rug, beautifully hand-woven in the early 1900s.  This rug features a beautiful and highly desirable "allover" pattern design, which creates a continuous and harmonious visual flow across the entire surface. The design is elegantly set against a luminous ivory color background, which provides a serene and sophisticated canvas. The field is adorned with a delicate motif of tree branches and leaves, woven with a graceful and naturalistic touch.

The color palette is both soft and sophisticated, with accent colors of delicate pink, verdant green, serene pale blue, warm brown, and gentle gray and lavender. These hues are beautifully balanced, creating a subtle and charming tapestry of color.
