Our Pets and Fine Rugs

We love our pets and they are part of the family. We are often asked by new clients if fine vintage and antique handwoven rugs and pets can work together. The answer is yes. If your pet has an accident on your rug, you need to have the carpet professionally cleaned as soon as possible to prevent long-term damage to the rug. Do not use the typical household cleaning agents since they might damage the rug permanently.

At the Persian Knot Gallery, we care about the environment and the effects of climate change on people here and around the world. We do this by helping our clients to preserve and reuse their fine handwoven rugs. As our rugs were produced over 75 to 100 years ago and can be used for another 100 years if washed and maintained regularly.
