4’ 4” x 6’ 6” Vintage Chinese Peking area rug with auspicious and good fortune symbols including Qilin, phoenix, butterflies, moths and clouds . The rug has an ivory color field and navy blue border. The design of the rug has Chinese symbols of happiness, prosperity, and long life throughout the field and border. The symbols include Qilin and Phoenix in the central medallion and butterflies, moths and clouds throughout the field and border. The rug has a lattice design border in navy blue with lattice forms in brown. Accent colors in the field include pink, navy blue, baby blue, green, brown, and gray.
