Malayer 1770

This wonderful antique Persian Malayer rug from northwest Persia, woven in the early 1900s, exemplifies the artistry of village craftsmanship. The rug features an allover geometric pattern set in a rich rust-colored field, softened by corner spandrels in a refined French blue accented with scattered paisley motifs.
