10” X 13” x 3”  Vintage Native American Navajo Area Rug made into a small bag in the diamond pattern in ivory, red, gray and black colors circa the mid 1900s.  The vintage Navajo rug bag has a zipper to close it and a woven strap.  Navajo rugs are generally flat woven with wool for the body of the rug and usually cotton foundation. Navajo weavers use natural organic dyes that are available around their tribal land. The Navajo rugs have geometric designs and the design and symbols have religious and cultural meanings.
