15” x 58” Extremely rare and highly collectable early 20th century Turkmen Ersari Tent Hanging hand woven rug from the Turkmen tribes of Central Asia. The Turkmen Ersari wall hanging is in a geometric stripe pattern in dark red with accent colors in French blue, rust, brown, and ivory. It is a very rare and highly sought after Turkmen rug with the distinctive “Turkmen Blue” incorporated in the design. This Turkmen Ersari has a fine weave and shows the great workmanship of Turkmen weavers.
