An exceptionally rare and collectible vintage Persian Shahsavan tribal area rug from the historic Hashtroud region (“Eight Rivers”) in Azerbaijan Province, northwestern Persia. Woven in a highly desirable near-square format, this piece stands out for its powerful geometric composition and subtle mastery of color.

The rug features a stunning arrangement of star motifs in rows, rendered in all-natural vegetable dyes and earthy tones.
