Welcome to The Persian Knot Gallery

Curated Collection of Authentic 19th and The Early 20th Century Fine Handwoven Rugs, Tapestries and Textiles From Around the World

$24,900.00

An exceptionally fine vintage Persian Tabriz rug, masterfully hand-knotted in the 4th quarter of the 20th century, showcasing the renowned craftsmanship of a distinguished Tabriz workshop. This room-size masterpiece features an elegant floral "Garden Design" woven in a soft palette of ivory, taupe, and sage green—subtly elevated with luminous silk highlights throughout.

The central field, set in cream, is adorned with graceful trees, blooming flowers, and perched birds—motifs rich in symbolism and refined beauty. A taupe border frames the composition, while sage green and cream spandrels complement the design with floral flourishes in blue, gold, and green silk. A central medallion in sage and cream is delicately detailed with blossoms in blue, pink, and red.

Woven with a wool pile on a cotton foundation, this piece is extensively detailed in silk, creating a dynamic texture and light-reflective depth that brings the botanical motif to life. The harmony of soft neutrals and silk-accented florals makes it an ideal foundation for elegant interiors—from serene bedrooms to formal living rooms and curated entryways.

This rug is a true testament to Persian artistry, offering quiet luxury, timeless design, and versatile beauty that defies trends.
