An exquisite antique French Savonnerie hand-knotted area rug from the late 19th century, crafted in the grand royal weaving tradition that placed French pile carpets at the pinnacle of European decorative arts for more than three centuries. This distinguished piece features a refined floral motif of considerable elegance, set against a rich chocolate brown field beautifully accented with vibrant tones of red, pink, blue, and ivory — a palette of deep, warm richness characteristic of the finest Savonnerie production.
