Curated Collection of Authentic 19th and The Early 20th Century Fine Handwoven Rugs, Tapestries and Textiles From Around the World

This handwoven Agra rug from the early 1800s is a masterpiece of Indian weaving. Over 200 years old.  The Agra rug is in overall good condition with a beautiful all-over pattern in the tradition of Mugul rugs from the 15th and 16th centuries.  The field is in a magenta-red color with a lovely purple or eggplant color border. Also, a unique and rare square-size rug makes this even more desirable. Truly a collector’s treasured piece.
