Curated Collection of Authentic 19th and The Early 20th Century Fine Handwoven Rugs, Tapestries and Textiles From Around the World

$24,900.00

This vintage Persian Heriz rug from the early 1900s is a rare find in true room-size dimensions—offering balanced proportions that are ideal for interior spaces where wider layouts are preferred. Woven in Northwest Persia, this rug features a classic geometric pattern centered around a boldly designed medallion set against a rich red field. The medallion itself is rendered in a harmonious blend of baby blue, red, and navy, flanked by corner spandrels in vibrant tones of green, blue, red, and ivory. Bright accent colors, including pink and multiple shades of blue and green, animate the composition, adding a sense of energy and sophistication. Handwoven from fine wool and dyed using organic, naturally derived pigments, this rug is not only a statement piece but also a lasting heirloom that embodies the timeless elegance and durability of traditional Persian weaving.
