4′ x 10′11"  Superb Kurdish Bidjar wide runner in an all over paisley design on an abrash terracotta red field color from the early 1900s.  The Bidjar (Bijar) rug has an abrash rust red color field with an alternating paisley design format.  The field design accent colors include green, red, yellow, navy blue, French blue, and cream.   The border consists of three narrow borders one in French Blue, the other in red and the last one in pale yellow or ivory.  Interesting and very charming design items include small animal and human forms throughout the field and the borders.  A wonderful rug that brings beauty and heritage to any space it is displayed on.
