3' 2" x 7' 2" This Persian Camelhair Malayer hand knotted rug is truly a masterpiece of village weaving from the late 1800s. A large elongated hexagonal medallion set in a camelhair color field provides a beautiful design. The Malayer camelhair has a wonderful border consisting of geometric designs in brilliant colors of red, green, yellow, blue set in a dark red border color. The Malayer can be used either as an area rug or a runner depending on the specific design plan for a space.
