45” x 45” Antique American Braided Round area rug in blue, red, ivory, green from the 2nd quarter of the 1900s in Red, White, Blue, Yellow, Gray colors. The rug design and colors are very lively and have a special beauty and vibrancy. The rug is a best example of recycling and reusing material as a way of life. It is made of pieces of old clothing material that have been braided to make the rug. It would be a wonderful example of an Americana handcrafted folk art that would be very nice in a cottage, country design.
