This vintage Persian Isfahan area rug, hand-knotted in the 3rd quarter of the 1900s, exemplifies the refinement and artistry for which Isfahan weaving is renowned. The rug features a luminous ivory field with a central navy medallion, framed by elegant floral motifs in red, blue, green, yellow, and pink. Its navy border is adorned with the classical Shah Abbas “Leaf and Sickle” design, complete with scrolling vines and foliage.
