Description

The Persian Kerman area rug was woven in the 2nd quarter of the 1900s.  It has a classic Kerman design with an open field with an elongated central medallion.   It has a cream color field with a floral design around the wide border.  The accent colors include pink, pale blue, green, red, and brown.  The rug is plush and has a full pile.

Dimensions:  4’ 10" x 7’ 4’’
Date of Manufacture:  2nd Quarter of the 1900s
Place of Origin:  Persia
Material:  Wool pile on a cotton foundation
Condition:  Wear consistent with age and use
