8’ 11” x 12’ 2”   Vintage Persian silk Tabriz room size rug in a floral pattern with brilliant colors from the 3rd quarter of the 1900s.  The rug has a beautiful design and great silk color combination that shimmers under light.  It was hand woven at one of the city of Tabriz best workshops.   It has a wonderful floral garden design set on a navy blue field.  It has various design colors including gold, red, purple that have their own special hues because of the silk material and natural organic dyes.  The corner spandrels and the central medallion are in gold and ivory color background with designs in blue, brown and red.  The accent colors in the field include French blue, baby blue, cream, and navy blue. The color shades change drastically depending on what end of the rug one looks at it. Truly a masterpiece in design and the use of colors.
