Description

10’ 3” x 13’ 8”    A Persian Kerman rug from the workshop of renowned master weaver Rashid Farokhi.   This beautiful Kerman rug has a central medallion design with a beautiful large floral design of branches, leaves, and flowers set in a dark blue color.  The corner spandrels are in beautiful baby blue and red combination design.  The primary border is in red combined with a narrow light blue border on each side.  The other design and accent colors include light blue, red, green, yellow, and cream.

Date of Manufacture:  2nd Quarter of the 1900s
Place of Origin:  Persia
Material:  Wool pile on a cotton foundation
Condition:  Excellent
