Anatolian kilim 1687

Vintage Anatolian kilim area rug in an allover pattern in aqua blue, pale yellow, pink from the early 1900s Turkey.  This Anatolian kilim has a very unique and desirable design and earth tone color palette.  The design contains four columns of geometric medallions, each containing a stylized floral element in a different color scheme.  The earth tone colors produced by the use of organic vegetable dyes which overtime change add to the beauty of this vintage Anatolian kilim.  The colors include various shades of blue, yellow, light pink, and brown.
