4’ 4” x 6’ 8”      Vintage Persian Bakhtiari tribal rug from Western Persia from the 1st half of the 1900s in a medallion pattern.  Bakhtiari rugs are renowned for their beautiful design and the use of brilliant colors produced by the use of natural organic dyes.  The rug has a beautiful central medallion with white color and colorful designs. The blue color field and the white color border make a great combination.  The corner spandrels are rust red.  The added geometric forms throughout the field and border are in beautiful bright colors of yellow, pink, blue, and green.
