13’ 10" x 21’   Vintage oversized (mansion or palace size) hand-knotted Persian Bidjar is a masterpiece of the early 20th-century in an all over Herati pattern. This Bidjar rug is an exceptional piece in every aspect of design and production. This rug has an allover “Herati” design set in an antique red background color with Herati design accents in green, ivory, baby blue, brown, pink, and red. The primary border is in navy blue color with geometric designs in yellow, pink, blue, and cream. The Bidjar rugs are sometimes referred to as “the Persian iron” rugs because of their tight weave and they often weigh two to three times as much as similar size rugs from other regions.
