5’ 3” x 8’ 8” Hand-Knotted Persian Bidjar area rug in an allover "Golfarang" floral pattern in pale yellow and navy blue from the 1st quarter of the 1900s. The Bidjar has a pale yellow field color with floral design in pink, ivory, red, baby blue, and green. The border is navy blue with flowers in red, and pink, and baby blue colors. The Bidjar rugs are renowned for their very tight, high knot count, great designs and finally wonderful colors and this rug is no exception. They are so tightly woven that they are often referred to as “The Iron Rugs of Persia”!
