8’ 11” x 11’ 3”    Breathtakingly Beautiful!  Vintage hand-knotted Chinese Art Deco Nichols room size rug with a floral design on eggplant or pale mauve color field with a dark blue border from the early 1900s.   It has the floral design of trees and flowers, and pagodas in a country scene.  The wool is extremely soft and shiny and under light has a silk like shimmer.    A beautiful Art Deco Chinese carpet in truly excellent condition.  The Chinese Art Deco rugs have become very desirable because of their beautiful simple design and wonderful color combination.
