10' 6" x 17' 2"     The oversized (mansion sized) Farhan Sarouk is designed in the tradition of 16th and 17th centuries Persian Kerman "Vase" or the "Vine-Scroll and Palmette" Rugs.  It has an "allover" design set in a rich dark blue field.  The field design in this Farahan Sarouk includes larger format vine-scroll and palmette designs in beautiful shades of pink, red, green, blue, and yellow colors.  The Border is in red color with minor borders in gold and light blue colors.  The wool is extremely soft and has a lustrous luxury, brilliance, and richness which shows in the rug presentation. Although the rug has a very short pile and is worn in some areas, the beauty of the design and fine colors are clearly visible.
