3’ 11” x 5’ 9” A beautiful hand-hooked area rug from the mid 1900s. The rug has a floral pattern set in a pale green background. The center medallion is a bouquet of flowers in pastel color including pale green, yellow, ivory and pink. The edge of the rug is a pale brown framing the design. The essence of “American Folk Art '' the hand-hooked rugs were generally created by the individuals using simple tools and material recycling for use in their homes.
