Presenting an exquisite example of mid-20th century Persian artistry, this vintage hand-knotted oversized Kashan rug is a true masterpiece.  The rug features an all-over floral pattern meticulously rendered with large format leaf, palmette, and vine motifs, famously known as the distinguished "Shah Abbas" motif. This timeless design speaks to centuries of Persian weaving tradition and royal patronage. The rich color palette woven throughout the field and border includes elegant shades of ivory, warm tan, deep brown, serene blue, and classic navy, creating a harmonious and visually captivating composition.

Several distinguishing factors elevate this Kashan rug: its impressive oversized format, the grandeur of its large-scale design, it's all-over pattern that seamlessly fills the space, and the particularly rare and sought-after ivory background. Adding to its provenance and authenticity, the name of the workshop is subtly woven into the ends of the rug, as well as integrated into the palmettes within each of the four corners.
